In my 16 years as a recruiter, trainer and consultant, I have been
witness to millions of dollars of income generated by consultants,
recruiting firms, staffing professionals, and small business owners who are basically
normal people that made the commitment to get ahead financially in this
industry.
The routes that we have all taken to financial success are in some ways
different, but the common thread among everyone is having the motivation to
make money and take on the challenging (but gratifying) task of
providing qualified job seekers to companies for the
purpose of employment.

- Income Potential - Recruiters and
staffing consultants can earn up to $250,000 annually or more
depending on many factors including self-motivation, effort, and
strategy. Contingency placement fees can average around $15,000
per hired candidate; Contract recruiters can earn up to $75 per hour;
Retained searches can amount to at least $8,000 per hire.
- Freedom, Flexibility - 90% of a
Recruiter's work involves facilitating information about jobs and
candidates by telephone and internet. This gives a Recruiter a
lot of freedom and flexibility over where and when they actually
perform their work. There is little or no travel involved.
- Home Based Business - Because most of a Recruiter's work is done
by telephone and internet, a recruiting business can be established
